The DIO62920 is a high-efficiency, high-frequency synchronous step-down DC-DC regulator IC, capable of delivering up to 6 MHz oscillation frequency, which allows using 0.47 μH coil with a size of 1.6 mm × 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm × 0.5 mm ceramic capacitors for the input capacitance (CIN) and the output capacitance (COUT). The DIO62920 works in discontinuous conduction mode under light load to reduce the oscillation frequency at light load. The device adopts high-frequency switch control, which reduces the size of peripheral devices. It is available in the packages of DFN-6 (1.2 mm × 1.2 mm) and WLCSP-5 (0.77 mm × 0.93 mm).
